Double-wall borosilicate glasses are one of our best-selling categories — and most end-user complaints come not from defects, but from improper care. Sharing a short care guide with your customers reduces returns and improves reviews. Here is a version you are free to adapt.
Cleaning
- Dishwasher safe, but hand washing with a soft sponge extends the life of printed designs.
- Avoid abrasive scrubbers and strong alkaline detergents on decorated surfaces.
- For tea or coffee stains, soak in warm water with baking soda rather than scrubbing hard.
Heating
- Microwave safe for reheating beverages. Avoid heating empty glasses.
- Do not use on direct flame or stovetops unless the product is specifically designed for it.
- When pouring boiling water, pre-warm the glass with a little hot water first — borosilicate handles thermal shock well, but gentle habits extend product life.
Handling
- The inner wall is thin by design for insulation. Avoid sharp impacts on the rim.
- A small vent hole at the base is normal — it is part of the mouth-blown manufacturing process, not a defect.
